We require all dogs to be spayed or neutered, and licensed by King County. We welcome puppies as young as 8 weeks. We've had several dogs start at 8-9 weeks of age, some of whom are still with the group, 3-5 years later. Early socialization is extremely important for a puppy's development into a healthy, well-adjusted adult dog. We can start dogs at a very young age because we do not require vaccination. After thoroughly researching the subject, we found vaccination to be a dubious practice at best. It is harmful to animals, and most certainly does not prevent disease (nor has it ever been proven to do so). Therefore, we leave it up to each individual dog owner whether or not to vaccinate. All dogs are subject to an initial two-part screening process, social affability being the main criterion by which they are judged. Services are available to any dog of any age, breed, or size who meets our criteria; however, those dogs who love to chase other dogs or tennis balls will benefit the most from our services! Dogs are picked up around mid-day and usually returned by 4:00 in the afternoon. Doggy play group services are limited to weekdays.
